Self Hypnosis

Image Self hypnosis is a skill that once acquired and then used regularly can make a huge difference to your quality of life. Whilst some may liken self hypnosis to meditation, when properly learned, it can be used far more widely. Not only is it a tool for regular relaxation but also it can be used to increase self understanding and for helping make changes or resolve difficult issues.

If you can get hold of it The Self-Hypnosis Kit is a useful introduction to learning self hypnosis, but if you are seriously interested then the best thing is to work with two experienced professional hypnotherapists who can guide you through the basics and help you develop and enhance your skills with a variety of powerful techniques.

Our Self Hypnosis Course

Really relax and enjoy life The aim of this course is to teach participants to really relax, to become more pleasurably aware of the world we live in, to appreciate and enjoy life more, to gain greater self-confidence and to become happier and more contented in themselves. The first session of the course is devoted to teaching the basics of self hypnosis. Did you know for example that it’s possible to learn to take yourself into hypnosis at a busy station for a set length of time, giving you the chance to chill out and still catch your train?

The course takes place over six weeks, each session lasting about two hours. It is led by Liz Kotarska , who has an Advanced Hypnotherapy and HypnoHealing practice in East Bergholt, and Hugh Clover who has practised Advanced Hypnotherapy and HypnoHealing for over ten years working from his home in Stratford St Mary.

The Self Hypnosis course is held in East Bergholt, on the Essex/Suffolk border between Ipswich and Colchester.

Image Using Advanced Hypnotherapy the course is designed to help with relaxation, self discovery, and instigating changes at the subconscious level. Participants are taught a variety of self hypnosis techniques and are also given the opportunity to learn about HypnoHealing.

It is important for participants to understand that hypnosis is simply a state of mind, that no one can be hypnotised against their will, and that they will never say or do anything that they do not want to. In hypnosis you are fully aware of what is going on, and you are in control at all times.
